Carl Joseph Bullock, 88, of Amazonia, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Diversacare in St. Joseph.  He was born June 22, 1932 in Nodaway, MO to Willis Henry and Katie (Hollenbach) Bullock.  He married Dorothy Jean Stoos in 1957 and they had five children together.  He married Betty Heinzy in 1972 and they had two children.  Betty preceded him death in 2004.

Carl was a member of Amazonia and Savannah Lyons Clubs.  He enjoyed racoon and mushroom hunting, fishing, and hunting.

Carl is survived by his children; Marion E. (Randy) Mecca of Eagleville, MO, Jimmy Joe Bullock of Sheridan, MO, Kelley L. Bullock of Bethany, MO, Katie (Mike) Smith of Eagleville, MO, Bryion E. Bullock of Rosendale, MO, and Betty Joe (Gary) Griffin of St. Joseph; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Dennis (Bernie) King of Houston, TX, and Cindy (Duane) Eddings of Texas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, William H. Bullock, stepson, Kevin King, granddaughter, Sarah Mecca, and five brothers.

Visitation and family receiving time will be held 1:00pm-2:00pm, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.  Memorial contributions can be made to Andrew County Senior Center.
