Bradon Rylee Krull, 19, of Savannah, MO, lost his courageous battle with Chondrosarcoma at his home Tuesday, August 9, 2016. He was born in St. Joseph, MO, on August 1, 1997, to Phillip "JR" Krull Jr. and Melanie Carter Nigh.
After sharing his light and personality with the teachers and students of Coleman Elementary in St. Joseph, Mo. from kindergarten through third grade, Bradon moved to Savannah, Missouri. From the day he walked into Minnie Cline Elementary for his first day of fourth grade, he was a Savannah Savage through and through. He was a light in the life of anyone who was lucky enough to come into contact with him. Bradon was a person who brought people together. He was a selfless person who, once he was your friend, he was your friend for life. His loyalty, humor, kindness, strength, orneriness, work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to his family will live on in those his life touched.
Bradon was a lover of the outdoors (unless it was a thunderstorm) sports, and writing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bradon loved baseball and football. He did not love basketball, but played, because he was always there for his school and his teammates. He always put his team before himself. He started his love of sports in kindergarten and played for many local teams competitive and recreational alike. In 7th and 8th grade he was in the Bantam Football league, Andrew County Kings Baseball team, and Savannah Middle School basketball team and played through his sophomore year of high school. Bradon continued to be part of the Savannah High School community in person, when possible, and in spirit when absent to receive treatment and fight cancer. Bradon graduated May 15, 2016 from Savannah High School.
He is survived by his parents, Phillip "JR" (Heather) Krull Jr. and Melanie (Michael) Nigh both of Savannah; maternal grandparents, Jerry Carter and Cheryl Bullock; paternal grandfather, Phillip Krull Sr; paternal great-grandmother, Bernice Eckles; Three sisters, Sienna Krull, Sophie Krull, and Sayler Nigh all of Savannah; three brothers, Austin (Micah) Hurst and Derek Dow both of Savannah, and Michael (Mariah) Hurst of Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, step-grandparents, and his niece, Abigail.
