Bonnie Sue Potts, 58, Rosendale, Mo passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO.  She was born April 18, 1960 in St. Joseph, MO to Fred & Mary (Hovey) Penland.

Bonnie loved to mushroom hunt.  She enjoyed fishing and time on the boat at the river and Lake of The Ozarks.  She loved her family and the time she spent with all of them.

Bonnie is survived by her life partner Gary Lee Potts; mother, Mary (Jim) Boose of Rosendale, MO; children, Felicia Potts of King City, MO, Kyle Potts of St. Joseph, and Leslie Potts of Rosendale; brothers, Steve (Linda) Penland, Bill (Ann) Penland, and Fred Penland Jr; sisters, Rosie (Bill) Strelo,  Nancy (Jim) Ball, and Mary (John) Brewer; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, and sister, Sally Bailey; brother-in-law, Robert Potts.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday April 16, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.  Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
