Beverly Lou Wright, 87, of Savannah, MO passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Mosaic Health Care in St. Joseph. She was born on December 29, 1929 in Mound City, MO to George & Martha (Robinson) Keiffer. She married Buford "Shorty" Wright in St. Joseph on May 5, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 2010.
Beverly loved her family and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crossword puzzles, shoes, and purses. She was a dog person and had many furry friends over the years.
Survivors include one son, Tim (Amy) Wright of St. Joseph; three daughters, Nancy Wright of Savannah, Susie (Kent) Boyer of Savannah, and Jayne (Kevin) Davis of Amazonia; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Heather, Kristin, Austin, and Kayla; six great-grandchildren, Destiny, Dexter, Kealy, Kimber, Adrienne, and Ellie Sue. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and one sister.
Memorial Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 11, 2016 at 3:00PM at Maple Grave Church in Stewartsville, MO. Inurment will be Monday February 13, 2017 at 1:00PM in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Beverly L. Wright Memorial Fund at Nodaway Valley Bank. Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah is in charge of local arrangements.
