Beverly Sue (Christie) Hutson, 78, Bolckow, MO, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at Nodaway Nursing home in Maryville, MO. She was born in Chillicothe, MO on February 5, 1936 to Virgil and Winifred (Todd) Christie. Beverly married Asa (AB) Hutson at the Maryville Christian Church in 1953 and he preceded her in death in 2000. Beverly loved and cherished her family and the time she spent with them. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and games. She was frugal and always lived within her means. She had a strong ability to say "no" to things she didn't need. There was never a question on where she stood on things. Survivors include her three daughters, Terry Jorgenson, Bolckow, MO, Tina Boone, Nixa, MO, and Diane and Tom Heath, Helena, MO; one brother, James Christie, Charlotte NC; four grandchildren, Jenny and David Johnson, Omaha, NE, Calli Boone, Springfield, MO, Dewey Ray Heath and Alex Heath both of Helena, MO, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; two grandchildren, Sara Jorgenson, and Strider Boone.

Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be 6 to 8 PM Monday August 25, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Burial in Bolckow Cemetery, Bolckow, MO.
