Beverly Ann (Richards) Black, 92, of St. Joseph, Mo. past away Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, 2016.
Beverly Ann (Richards) Black was born Jan 17, 1924 in Guilford, Mo to parents Roland Everett Richards and Alice Viola (Violett) Richards.
Beverly graduated from Horace Mann High School, Maryville Mo, class of 1941, and attended North Western State Teachers College, Maryville, Mo. She was a member of Guilford United Methodist Church.
She married William Kermit Black on Sept 25th, 1945. He preceded her in death Feb. 1981, as did her youngest son Michael Everett Black and sister Joy L. Wilson.
Survivors are three sons, Roland (Linda) Black, Kansas City, Mo.; Frank (Susan) Black, St. Joseph, Mo.; Aaron (Mary) Black, St. Joseph, Mo.; four grandchildren Debra (Shawn) Bennett, Staff Sgt Thye Black, Darcy (Alex) BeDell ,Michael W. Black; three great-grandchildren Peyton, Triston, and Taylor; step granddaughter Shelley (Todd) Richards; two step great-grandchildren Tyler and Morgan; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, a special cousin, Arley Mae Cordonier, and a special daughter, Shirley Black.
Graveside services will be 11AM, Wednesday. November 9, 2016 at Weathermon Cemetery, Guilford, Mo. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Guilford United Methodist Church, 221 Wilson St, Guilford, MO 64457. Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home is charge of local arrangements.
