Betty Joan Taylor, 62, Savannah, MO, passed away on July 31, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. She was born April 27, 1955 in St. Joseph to Alvin & Helen (Hegler) Schroeder. She married Michael Taylor in Savannah, MO on April 2, 1999 and he survives of the home.
Betty loved to spoil her kids and grandkids. She always put others before herself. She loved her family and was a hard worker. She enjoyed crafts and playing games with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, parents, two children Dana (Aaron) Davis of Rae, MO and Danny DeLong of Arkansas; two brothers, Allen & Randy Schroeder both of St. Joseph; two sister, Barb (Larry) Ebling and Bonnie (Tim) Glidewell both of St. Joseph; seven grandchildren, Darian Davis, Carey Davis, Dalton DeLong, Cayden Davis, Ravyn DeLong, Drayden DeLong, Kelsi DeLong, and one great-grandson, Jace Muff. Betty was preceded in death by her grandson Dominic DeLong.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 10:00 am at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO. Memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
