Betty Jane (Bowlin) Canon 73, Savannah, MO passed from this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at her home. She was born October 16, 1941 in Bolckow, MO. to Ernest and May (Rogers) Bowlin.
Betty married Robert Rex Canon on May 20, 1967 in Savannah, MO and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2002
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and watching her birds. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son Randy & Wendi Canon of Savannah; one daughter, Shelia Canon, of Chillicothe, MO; one brother, Richard & Carol Bowlin of Holt, MO; one sister, Shirley Fletchall of St. Joseph, MO; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment will be in Bennett Lane Cemetery. Public visitation and family receiving hours will be 10 to 11 AM Tuesday December 2 at the Funeral Home.
