Barbara Jane Wade, 73, Bolckow, MO passed from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Savannah, MO surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 27, 1942 in Maryville, MO. to Ralph & Wilma (Combs) Payne. She married her high school sweetheart Robert Wade in Graham, MO on January 1, 1961and he survives of the home.
She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Barbara was a farmer's wife who helped in the hay field and where she was needed. She helped start the Pony Express Polled Hereford Association serving as secretary and treasurer. She taught cooking for the Graham 4-H Clubs. She was a member of the Missouri Pollettes which is a group of lady's whose families raise Polled Hereford cattle.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters; Cindy (Gene) Taylor of Savannah, MO, Tracy (Steve) Hofer of Wentzville, MO, and Debbie (Jamie) Keskeaw of Platte City, MO; five grandchildren, Melissa (Dan) Fowler, Matt (Karen) Taylor, Jacob Hofer, Ryan Hofer, Adam Hofer, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and twin sister Beverly Blumhost.
Celebration of Life will be 10:00 AM Saturday August 15, 2015 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home; Savannah, MO. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8: 00 PM Friday August 14, 2015 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Graham Street Fair Board.
