Anna "Ann" Laura Brewer, 85 of St. Joseph, MO passed from this life to the next on Monday, August 11, 2025 in St. Joseph, MO.  She was born August 11, 1940 to Thomas & Florence (Alexander) Bishop. She married Marion Brewer on August 14, 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Ann enjoyed bingo, fishing, traveling, the KC Royals, and Chiefs football.  Following graduation from Weston High School she attended the Gard Business School.  Ann worked at Prudential Life Insurance Company in St. Joseph, MO for 34 ½ years.  She was a member of the Community Christian Church in St. Joseph, MO.  Ann was a huge University of Missouri (Miz Zou) fan.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Linda (Phil) Page of Lee's Summit, MO, Lisa Ritz of Little Elm, TX, Bruce (Beverly) Bishop of Wichita, KS, Michele (Mark) Trompeter of Lawrence, KS, Teresa (Kevin) Shaffstall of Peculiar, MO, Walter Bishop of Agency, MO , Jeff (Angela) Bishop of St. Joseph, MO, and Florence (Todd) Schimmel of Dearborn, MO; sister-in-law, Charlene Bishop and numerous family and friends.  She was preceded in death by parents, husband, six brothers; Thomas Bishop, J. B. Bishop, Roy Bishop, Ernie Bishop, Everett Bishop, and an infant brother.
